DAS NEUE D INGS

Step into our latest art project:

A historic cinema in Munich reimagined as a vibrant stage for curated entertainment, extraordinary events, and next-level art experiences.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to D INGS!

The perfect place to forget your sins — or discover them for the first time. This big, this loud, this wild — Munich hasn’t seen it since Freddie Mercury was still alive.

Ladies and gentlemen — bienvenue, welcome, and benvenuto to the Happy End Hotel. A creative mess. Just the way Freddie would have loved it.

All artist credits coming soon.

HAPPY END HOTEL

HAPPY END HOTEL

No reception.
No reservations.
No real happy ending.

Happy End Hotel — 85 artists, 85 rooms.

An interactive exhibition about collective creation. About art in galleries. About sex and passion. About war and misery. About the very personal idea of a happy end. Six floors. Around 25 performers moving through it.

And because that still isn’t enough:
on weekends it turns into a club and bar.

SCHWANTHALERSTR

SCHWAN
THALERSTR

Schwanthaler Straße 75 — once the home of Franz Marc.

Following the traces of Der Blaue Reiter, we transformed a former abandoned school into an epicenter of experimental art and culture.

In a single weekend, more than 50 artists transformed over 5,000 square meters with street art, graffiti, and artworks that hit straight to the heart.

A tribute to Franz Marc.
A tribute to the Blue Rider.

MAMMON

Now take a look at MAMMON.

MAMMON — the demon of wealth.
The devil’s son.
Greed.
Hoarding.
Money.

Our first interactive theatre.

A world built from sets. Visitors choose their own path through it, guided by our fictional
currency: EINS

A shower.
A backroom casino.
A prostitute.
The unemployment office.

Something like Mini-München on crack — but for adults.

Along the way: actors everywhere. Backroom casino bosses. Prostitutes. Pregnant nuns. Gallerists. Homeless figures drifting through the story.

Strange, chaotic, excessive — and still a mirror of society.

Right in the middle of Munich’s Bahnhofsviertel.

Sex. Greed. Addiction. Faith. Art. MAMMON.

DYING HOUSE

Dying House — ten years of vacancy. Eight apartments and a rear building. Our response to empty space.

An exhibition by Münchener Traum.

At Ziblandstraße 5, Munich briefly became the New York of the little guy. Inside eight long-abandoned apartments, artists transformed the spaces into strange new worlds: mini ramps, dream parking spots, tattoo studios, even miniature Oktoberfest fairgrounds.

Each apartment its own universe.

Each room a different version of the city.

A house left to decay — turned into a playground for art.

MASCHINENHAUS

MASCHINEN
HAUS

The place we’re standing in smells like an old basement and dead pigeons. Almost like visiting grandma and grandpa back in the day.

Sometimes rain came through the roof. Most of the time it was cold.

No running water.
No electricity.

Still, we transformed this abandoned industrial site behind the former Schwabing hospital into something quite special.

At least for Munich.
In Berlin or Leipzig — just standard.

ABOUT US

BROKE TODAY is an interdisciplinary art collective. We turn urban spaces into cultural labs. Over the past eight years, we’ve run multiple locations and collaborated with hundreds of incredible international artists — too many to count (we’re working on properly crediting everyone).

We create art exhibitions, unique events, and cultural marketing. Art, film, music, performance, murals, fashion — if it’s creative, we produce it.
